A legitimate meld can be produced, for instance, by substituting a joker for a missing card if a player has two cards of a sequteen priceence but is missing one particular card. Players must also exercise caution when disclosing their jokers too early in the game. Until they are prepared to announce "Rummy," players can remain hidden, which keeps opponents from predicting their next move.
